Choosing demons over loves,
Making deals with invisible allies
Who you believe will serve you right
Not serve up pain in longevity.

Non-belief of close ones hit their peaks
Freaking over the words,
Rebounding over and over,
Until rage blurs the lines of empathy.

Possessed and obsessed
A combination that kills millions,
And left many more stranded,
Empty handed.

There is either no end
Or a quick end,
Both a torture to the victim,
The perpetrator, and the fool,
Three acts playing out
In one mind.

How can one soul survive in this environment
And live unscathed,
Not in isolation, no, they will die alone,
This life needs help,
This life needs to be saved.

Changes

The mind is adept at its own pretence
When a foreseeable ending claws at its sense
Rapid spate of change is hard to allow
Crystal clear thoughts deviate from the brow
An uncontrolled destined moment in time
Perspectives of honesty bring up the divine
Amnesiac spaces previous and after
Brings the transition not nearer nor faster

Change sparks defence to raise fully clad
Denial, like a sane man humouring the mad
A rapid such ending wretches the soul
Pulls what we possess to never let go
Our sleepless gut instinct repulses the last
Repelling an echo of struggles near past
For even the efficient an ending feels strange
A limbo state not desiring to change

An unconscious unknown steadily beckons
Lifetime of intake, although its just seconds
Confusion is ripe though doesn’t persist
Without endings your presence wouldn’t exist
On ponder a moment which presents a choice
An alternate view to retain a lost voice
Reflect to proceed, an perceptive mind wins
Determine an ending, is where a new first begins.

Fallen

When sat alone
With the weight of blood
Panicked in solitude
Restricted from external wounds
Do we cry,
Or lie down upon the sympathy?
Voicing the same tale
To heighten ears
Imagining on empathic fears
Which soon dies
From curious eyes.
The scars of eternity sparks interest
To unknown generations
Seeking if the whispers are truth.
They are, if not worse,
Bones were cracked
Shock crushed the breath,
The story revealed forever wrapped in light
Never disclosing
How close we were to death.

Doppelganger

Out of body experiences doubt my existence
Feeling in limbo, questioning propaganda
Choices agreed but not remembered
Losing sanity slowly to a doppelganger

Familiar face reflects my smile
Eyes deep of black radiating trouble
Words speaks my voice to society’s nods
I’m the only conscience, seeing this flawed double

Mind stays guarded from being watched
In my dreams his courage grows to speak
Explains my character will be invaded
Though if he bleeds I bleed

Only in the mirror I can ask for mercy
The answer sincerely will be the same
That my tainted fracture soul will soon vanish
And only my demon, will remain.

Poker Face

Short term elation hangs
Where addiction masks the madness
Painting a wealth of contentment
On a frustrated canvas of sadness

Pressure to spill fresh blood
Break the skin of self harm
Release the anxieties of coping
Take away the gamblers charm

The scabs of healed past
Become embers of the guilty
Punishing through instant gratification
Though quick healing leaves self pity

Hurting own form the true biggest gamble
As materials are soon won and lost
Scarring own human shell a sacred act
Giving relief but at what cost

Compulsions fight the middle ground
A hunger swell, holds no control
To ruin life through obsession
Leaves too great a debt to repay the soul.
